Tour Plan
DAY 1 - Napier & Hastings Wine Country
Start with an Art Deco walking tour in Napier. Continue to Hastings for wine tasting, vineyard gardens, and gourmet local produce.
DAY 2 - Hawke Bay -> Taupo
Drive inland to Lake Taupo. Spend the afternoon at hot pools, lakefront cafes, scenic viewpoints, or short geothermal walks.
DAY 3 - Taupo Adventure Day (Huka Falls & Optional Rafting)
Visit the dramatic Huka Falls and choose optional adventures such as jet-boating, a lake cruise, or Tongariro River rafting. End with lakeside relaxation.
DAY 4 - Taupo -> Rotorua (Geothermal Discovery)
Arrive in Rotorua for geysers, boiling mud, and cultural heritage at Te Puia. Afternoon spa or lakeside walk.
DAY 5 - Rotorua -> Blue Spring -> Waitomo
